Yes. But it does require the same responsibilty as having lit candles in your household. Each Firepot and Firefountain come with safety instructions on the box and in the instruction packet. There is also a metal snuffer included with each firepot purchase for safe extinguishment of flame.

2. Carefully light gel with a fireplace or grill type lighter or match

3. Enjoy the ambiance of the dancing flames

4. When finished, use metal snuffer to cover the flame and extinguish fire
